ADR – Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road This course aims to train and qualify drivers in the correct and safe handling procedures for transportation of hazardous solids, liquids and/or gases by road. Course content includes transportation of chemicals, use and design of the Tremcard, hazards involved in handling, loading and unloading of dangerous goods, contamination, legislation and emergency procedures and exercises. |

This intensive course aims to prepare candidates for the CPC exams, which are accredited by OCR and only held 4 times each year. The course covers all aspects of transport management including transport legislation, health and safety, business and financial management, drivers' hours and tachographs. A CPC qualification is a legal requirement for transport and haulage operators. |
Customer Care for Drivers A ½ day programme aimed at haulage and transport front line staff who meet and deal with your clients' representatives face to face. It focuses on the key issues of first impressions, representing the organisation, handling difficult situations and how they affect customer retention and your company's reputation. |
Defensive Driving Assessments & Corrective Tuition This course is designed to assess driver performance against recognised standards and will provide corrective tuition where necessary to improve performance and safety. You will notice reduced fuel bills, vehicle wear and tear and minor accident levels. Maintenance & repair costs will be reduced. You may qualify for reduced insurance premiums by having your drivers professionally assessed and certificated. Your drivers will be instructed to show greater courtesy and to respect other road users, therefore enhancing your company's public image. |

Passenger Carrying Vehicle Driver Training (PCV) To train drivers to the standard required by the Department of Transport for PCV licence. Candidates need to undergo a PCV medical before they can apply for the provisional licence; they must then pass the theory test for Large Vehicle drivers before they can start training. Assessments to determine the length of recommended training days required can be arranged. |

Tachographs & Driver's Hours Regulations This short course is designed to inform and update delegates' knowledge of driver's hours and tachograph rules for goods vehicles in the UK and Europe. This will assist in keeping both the company and the driver operating within the law and avoid costly fines/penalty points etc. |

Vehicle Banksman/Signaller This course is designed to minimise the risk of accident and injury to personnel, damage to property and equipment when manoeuvring vehicles within the workplace. It will provide candidates with an awareness of potential hazards including presence of other personnel, vehicles and plant, height restrictions, one-way systems, ground conditions and movement or space restrictions. It will instruct candidates how to operate a safe system of work for vehicle movements at work. |
