CDM Regulations 1994 (as amended)
This course is designed for managers and supervisors who have management responsibilities for construction projects and who are required to be familiar with the CDM Regulations. The course format will be a mixture of lecturing, tutor-led discussion, short video, group work and case study.
Electric Winch Safety
This course is designed to provide a general understanding of legislation and safety procedures that apply to the safe operation of electric winches in the construction industry.
Gin Wheel Safety
This course is designed to provide a general understanding of legislation and safety procedures that apply to the safe operation of gin wheels and pulley systems in the construction industry.
Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER 98)
This course is designed to increase safety in the workplace by providing operatives with a general awareness and working knowledge of health and safety with regard to lifting operations and lifting equipment.  These regulations apply to : forklift trucks, cranes, hoists, MEWPs, winches, gin wheels etc.

New Roads & Street Works – Operatives
This course is designed to provide operatives with the knowledge and skills to be able to carry out any street work to the standard required by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. Candidates will be able to locate underground apparatus, set up roadworks for works within the highway, carry out excavation, back-fill and reinstatement using cold lay bituminous materials

New Roads & Street Works – Supervisors
This course is designed to provide supervisors with the knowledge and skills to be able to monitor any street work being carried out and to ensure that they are to the standard required by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.
Oxy-acetylene Cutting
This course is designed to provide operatives with previous welding experience with specific training and safety awareness in dealing with oxy–acetylene cutting equipment.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
This course is designed to provide candidates with an understanding of portable appliance testing equipment and inspection/examination procedures. At the end of this course candidates will be able to demonstrate that they have a safe working knowledge of portable appliance testing.

Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER 98)
This course is designed to raise awareness of the regulations and to increase safety in the workplace by providing operatives with a working knowledge of health & safety with regard to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations and how they affect the workplace, employers and employees.
Signing Lighting & Guarding
This course is designed to provide candidates with a knowledge and understanding of the main legal requirements and safety procedures when signing, lighting and guarding excavations and re-instatement in new roads and street works. This is a stand-alone course but can also be a unit award as part of the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991.
