Asbestos Crisis Management This course provides delegates with a knowledge and understanding of how to develop an asbestos crisis management plan. Delegates learn how and when to invoke an asbestos crisis action plan and what immediate actions should be taken to ensure an effective recovery in the event of an incident or crisis. The course will benefit personnel with responsibility for crisis management, including senior management, immediate supervisory staff and elected safety representatives. |

Dealing with Challenging Behaviour This course aims to provide candidates with the skills to be able to identify and react to challenging behaviour and difficult situations in a controlled manner, to a satisfactory conclusion. Dealing with Difficult Customers This course is designed to provide candidates with the ability to be able to resolve conflict, by learning how to mange the situation and turn negative comments/demands into a positive reaction that aims to resolve a situation to the satisfaction of both parties, where possible. Customers are NOT always right - sometimes they can have unreasonable demands and you need to know how to respond accordingly. |
Disciplinary Rules and Procedures This course aims to provide candidates with sufficient knowledge and understanding of accepted standards in relation to disciplinary matters in the workplace. Disciplinary rules and procedures are necessary to promote orderly employment relations as well as fairness and consistency in the treatment of employees. Rules set standards of conduct and performance at work; procedures help ensure that the standards are adhered to and also provide a fair method of dealing with alleged failures to observe them. |
