Effective Communication & People Skills
This course is designed to raise confidence and performance in individuals when communicating with others. This course looks at communicating and dealing with people, by examining basic skills that we all use when we talk to, deal with, or work with others. As individuals we are all very different, yet if we follow basic principles we can make it easier to build successful relationships with most people we make contact with, either socially or in a working environment

Effective Telephone Communication Skills
A four to six hour course aimed at staff responsible for dealing with members of the public on the telephone. It focuses on the key issues of first impressions, gathering and giving the correct information and dealing with complaints. Participants will also gain a better understanding of how to handle difficult situations and conflict over the phone.

Effective Written Communication Skills
Aimed at individuals who need to improve or upgrade their written communication skills, making their written work more clearly defined and structured. The course will focus on how to plan written communication in order to present clear, accurate and concise written information in a proficient and professional style. The course content can be adapted to meet with any specific needs.
Employment Preparation
This course aims to give unemployed candidates an understanding of some basic factors to be taken into account when looking for employment. It aims to prepare them for today's demanding labour market, giving them the skills to be able to compete with confidence when applying for jobs and attending job interviews.
Introduction to Computing
This course will enable participants to feel more confident using a computer as a resource when applying for a job and to feel more confident to apply for a job with a basic computing element to it.

By examining the basic stages involved in job search, from application through to interview and selection, and by looking at how simple tips and hints can make you more successful in each of the main areas.
Personal Development Stage 1
Candidates will realise, perhaps for the first time, that they can choose just exactly how they approach their career, relationships and personal fulfillment . Through understanding why we are as we are today (whatever that may be) and the realisation that we are capable of making effective, permanent change in any area of our lives, all on our own!
Personal Development Stage 2
The aim of stage 2 is to build on the knowledge gained from stage 1 and to reinforce ways of recognising and understanding what might be holding them back in their lives or careers, how to review the plan of action from stage 1, and how to approach the solution.  It aims to  install in them the belief and confidence to know that they can change if that is what they want.
