Accidents and Near Misses The aim of this course is to raise awareness of the impact accidents have in the workplace and to give an understanding of legislation and procedures involved when accidents occur, it will also provide candidates with an understanding of how reporting near misses can help prevent possible accidents from happening in the first place. |

Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) This course is designed for managers and supervisors or other personnel who have sufficient experience of safe use of cranes to BS7121 and who have a responsibility for on-site lifting operations. The course is a mix of theoretical instruction and practical simulation and demonstration. |

Asbestos Safety Awareness This course aims to provide candidates with an awareness of likely sources of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and sufficient knowledge of the hazards and risks associated with working with asbestos-related products. They will know the control measures essential to ensure a safe system of work whilst working with ACMs and know the appropriate personal protective equipment to be worn whilst working with ACMs to ensure their health, safety and welfare so far as is reasonably practicable. |

CAT Scanning This course is designed to give operatives an awareness and understanding of possible dangers when dealing with underground apparatus and to provide instruction in the correct use of CAT (cable avoidance tool) and associated equipment. |

CCNSG Safety Passport The standard 2-day course consists of ten standard modules made up of general subjects relating to health and safety in the workplace. 1-Day Confined Space Safety Awareness This is a classroom course and is aimed at supervisors or managers with responsibilities for confined space entry and for any person who is required to enter a confined space at work. Candidates will be shown how to implement safe systems of work regarding confined spaces. |
2-Day Safe Entry into Confined Spaces A more in-depth course aimed more at individuals who carry out work within confined spaces covering general confined space safety including safe systems of work, monitoring equipment, winches and harnesses and escape breathing apparatus. Classroom and practical exercises. |
